Clinigen Group was formed by merger in 2010 to create a Specialty Pharmaceutical & Services company focussed on getting medicines to patients and their physicians. Clinigen is dedicated to serving the patient, the medical community, and the pharmaceutical industry with quality products and services. The merger brought together three companies; Keats Healthcare, Clinigen Pharma, which together make up Clinigen’s Services Division and Clinigen Healthcare, which is Clinigen’s Products Division.

The Product division is looking to acquire and in-license, develop, register, market and commercialise proprietary specialist high value hospital only medicines in its targeted therapeutic areas. Clinigen also aims to be the preferred partner for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, especially those from outside Europe, seeking to maximise product and commercial opportunities through licensing them within Europe. The targeted therapeutic areas Clinigen is developing are oncology, leukaemia, haematology, transplantation and anti-virals. These, together with Clinigen’s expertise in pain management, orphan disease and critical care products, will allow the Group to become a major Specialty Pharmaceutical Company.
In the Services Division, the Company provides clinical trial supply (CTS) services and pre-launch, early market access and commercialisation solutions, Global Access Programs (GAP), to its customers and partners. Clinigen helps patients with unmet medical needs by supplying their pharmacist or physician with the drugs, medical devices and supplies they need through our partnership with pharmaceutical and biotech companies around the world. Through the Clinigen Pharma Division, we create tailored patient solutions to give access to drugs through Global Access Programs (Named Patient, Compassionate Use and Early Access Programs), and through Keats we create innovative customer solutions for the global procurement of drugs utilised for comparator, rescue, adjunctive or concomitant therapy in clinical studies.

The vision of Clinigen Group is to become a leading global specialty pharma and pharma services company, through acquiring strong products, developing lasting customer relationships and delivering high quality services and, to achieve this, through recruiting and retaining the most talented and committed employees in our industry.
Our Mission Statement enabling Clinigen Group to become a market leader is to be focussed on “the right drug to the right patient at the right time”; whether it is during a clinical trial, for compassionate use or individual (named) patient need, or is one of our niche, orphan or discontinued treatments.
